ABOUT US
The Australian American Association is proud to have as it's Patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeanette Young PSM, Governor of Queensland.

The Australian American Association is a wonderful group of Australian and American individuals, families, military, Associations and companies. What holds us all together is an interest in America and the strong allegiance between the two countries.
Our focus is on the social part of Australian American Lives, particularly the family.
We are a not-for-profit voluntary organisation, which provides a helping-hand to newly arrived Americans facing any transition issues. We also advise our members and others, of when the US Consul General may be visiting Brisbane, to allow them an opportunity to seek help with any US Government requirements.

We celebrate the holidays of both nations such as 4th of July, Memorial Day, Australia Day, ANZAC day, Thanksgiving and Christmas to name a few.
In addition, we have all sorts of other activities including our monthly Meet and Greet Events, cocktail receptions for visiting US Naval ships, social networking opportunities and much more!
